Want to enjoy fitness in a social and encouraging space? Our exercise programmes for seniors and NDIS Participants are tailored to meet your level, whilst still making it fun and functional. Our classes include:
All sessions are led by qualified professionals who modify and individualise exercises to match your physical needs, health condition, and goals.
We’ve designed our gym spaces with inclusivity in mind, so you can train with confidence in a safe, supervised environment.
Our programmes are open to individuals with:
Standard gyms often focus on general fitness, which can be overwhelming for those with clinical health needs. Healthstin sessions are led by Accredited Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists. Every movement is supervised to support safety, and your programme is clinically designed to manage chronic conditions, improve mobility, or assist with NDIS/Aged Care goals in a welcoming environment.
No. Healthstin clinics are located within community hubs and aquatic centres (such as the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre or Playford Aquadome), but you do not require a separate membership to access our services. Clients have access to gyms during scheduled sessions with Healthstin.
Accessibility is a core component of our service. Our gym spaces feature adaptive equipment, wide clearances for wheelchairs and walkers, and inclusive strength machines. Our staff are trained to assist participants with diverse physical abilities to utilise the equipment safely.
Most participants utilise their NDIS funding (under Improved Health and Wellbeing or Improved Daily Living) or Home Care Packages (HCP/CHSP) to cover gym-based therapy. We also accept DVA, WorkCover, and private health insurance.
We recommend comfortable, breathable clothing and closed-toe supportive shoes (like runners). Please bring a water bottle and a small towel. If you have clinical documentation or a referral from your GP, please bring those to your initial assessment.
We offer both. You may choose One-on-One sessions for individualised attention or join our Small Group Classes. Our groups are kept small to allow clinicians to individualise exercises for every participant, providing a social and supervised experience.
Every new participant begins with a comprehensive Initial Assessment. We review your clinical history, current physical capacity, and personal goals before creating a progressive plan. Our clinicians monitor your technique and adjust intensity as your confidence grows.
Whether you’re recovering from a fall, managing chronic conditions, or simply wanting to age with strength and confidence, our aged care exercise and NDIS programmes are here to support you.
Whether you’re dealing with pain, mobility issues, falls, or recovery, let us take the guesswork out. One of our experts will match you with the right service — at the right location and with the right funding — in under 10 minutes.
