Every graduate who joins gets structured supervision, real case discussion, and a clinician who has published in their field sitting across the table.

What mentorship looks like here
  • Set one-on-one time with senior clinicians
  • Regular team catch-ups built around real patient cases
  • Clinical governance frameworks that make good practice repeatable

IN THE CLINIC

A glimpse of Dr Rachelle in action

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers for both sides of the room

For our clients
How does an initial consultation differ from a standard treatment session?

Your First Appointment: This is all about getting to know you. We will chat about your health history, assess how you move, and write down your goals so we have a clear starting point.

Follow-Up Sessions: This is where we put your plan into action. We will guide you through your personalised movement program and step things up as you get stronger.

What is the distinction between physiotherapy and exercise physiology in this clinic?

Physiotherapy: Best for hands-on care (like joint movement and massage) and managing sudden, recent injuries to support your recovery safely.

Exercise Physiology: Best for using structured, physical exercise to manage ongoing health conditions (like heart health or diabetes) and support your long-term movement.

How They Work Together: We coordinate both treatments within your Healthstin plan to support your entire journey—from immediate recovery to your long-term physical goals.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

No Referral Needed: You can book an appointment with us directly without seeing a doctor first.

Funding & Insurance Exceptions: If you are using private health insurance or government funding (like Medicare or the NDIS), you might need a referral from your GP (family doctor).

Check Online: You can easily check what you need for your specific situation directly through our Healthstin booking portal.

What should I bring or wear to my appointment?

What to Wear: Please wear comfortable, loose clothes that make it easy for you to stretch and move around.

What to Bring: If you have any medical scans, health reports, or a list of your current medicines, please bring them with you. Alternatively, you can upload them to your Healthstin online file before we meet.

Can I bring a support person or family member to my session?

You Are Welcome to Bring Someone: You are more than welcome to bring a family member, carer, or support person with you to your appointment.

Let Us Know in Advance: Please let us know beforehand, or tick this option when booking through Healthstin. This allows us to arrange the treatment room so there is plenty of space and seating for everyone.

Is the clinic accessible for individuals with mobility aids?

Yes, our facility is fully accessible, including ramps, wide doorways, and accessible restroom facilities.

What should I expect regarding my progress and recovery timeline?

Tailored Just for You: No two people are the same, so your movement plan will be completely unique to your body.

Tracking Your Goals: During your first visit, we will set clear goals together. We then check in regularly using Healthstin’s tracking tools to make sure your plan stays on track with what you want to achieve.

For Future Team Members
What is the core clinical philosophy at the clinic?

At Healthstin, we focus entirely on your unique needs. We base our care on proven scientific research and use safe, guided movement alongside clear education to support your day-to-day self-reliance. Everything we do is coordinated through the trusted Healthstin system to support you every step of the way.

How does the clinic support professional development and mentorship?

We make sure our team has everything they need to grow. We hold regular team catch-ups to discuss and learn from our patient cases and you will have set, one-on-one time to learn directly from our experienced senior clinicians.

What values are most important to the team?

We are looking for team members who are genuinely caring, take responsibility for their work, and love learning new skills. We value practitioners who enjoy working closely with others to support our patients, while maintaining the high standard of care we practice at Healthstin.

Is there an opportunity for multidisciplinary collaboration?

Absolutely. We actively encourage communication and joint care planning between our physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, and the wider allied health network.

Are there paths for leadership or career advancement?

We support internal growth. Clinicians have the opportunity to take on roles in clinical leadership, project management, or programme development as our Healthstin-aligned practice grows.

What is the preferred process for submitting an application?

Please submit a cover letter outlining your clinical interests and a current CV to . We review all applications that demonstrate a strong alignment with our patient-centred mission and our commitment to the Healthstin clinical model.
