We deliver top notch Allied Health services through the Support at Home Program. Fully funded across all levels. Expert led by our experienced Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists.
The Support at Home Program is the Australian Government’s new aged care initiative designed to replace the Home Care Packages (HCP) and Short-Term Restorative Care Programme (STRC) by November 2025, and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) from no earlier than July of 2027.
The goal is to make it simpler for older Australians to stay healthy

Under this new Support at Home Program, services are packaged into levels 1 to 8, based on the care you need. These range from basic support to more complex care. If you’re registered with My Aged Care, you may be eligible to receive these services fully funded.
The Program will also include the Restorative Care Pathway, which will focus
on Allied Health services to help maintain your independence; the Assistive Technology and Home Modifications scheme, and the End-of-Life Pathway.

Yes. Allied Health services, including Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy, are included under the Clinical Supports budget within the SAH program. This means these services can be fully funded under SAH, depending on your assigned classification level and available budget.
Your classification determines your quarterly and annual budget allocation, as set out in the most recent SAH Handbook.
The Restorative Care Pathway is separate from the ongoing SAH Clinical Supports budget. It is a short-term, intensive funding option – available for up to 16 weeks – for people who need urgent rehabilitation or recovery after events like a fall, surgery, or illness.
This pathway can fund additional Allied Health and clinical services (including Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy) on top of your standard SAH budget. Typical allocations are around $6,000, with the potential to increase by an additional $6,000 if needed.
If you’re currently receiving services through CHSP, your support will continue under the new Support at Home Program. The government is working to make the transition as smooth and automatic as possible, so you don’t have to reapply or worry about gaps in care. The CHSP will transition to the Support at Home Program no earlier than July 2027.

The Support at Home programme is for older Australians who want to keep living safely and independently at home. It offers funding for services that support health, mobility, and daily tasks.
To get started, contact My Aged Care and ask for an aged care assessment. This assessment will help find out what kind of support you might need at home.
Therapists help people in the Support at Home programme stay active and manage movement difficulties. Their services are designed to boost confidence, improve mobility, and support overall wellbeing.
Whether you’re dealing with pain, mobility issues, falls, or recovery, let us take the guesswork out. One of our experts will match you with the right service — at the right location and with the right funding — in under 10 minutes.
